Anilee Walker was born on the 24/6/1999 she died on the 7/1/2002.
Ainlee was killed by her mother and father by pinching, hitting, scalding, burning her with
cigarettes and starving her.
Ainlee Labonte was covered in 64 scars, scabs and bruises when she died and her weight, 21lbs, was
half that of an average two-year-old.
Paramedics found Ainlee lying dead on a kitchen table after her parents called an ambulance on
January 7 2002. Labonte and Henry were arrested at the hospital.
It was discovered that Ainlee had not eaten for two days before her death even though the kitchen
was full of food and her siblings, now in the care of the local authority, were well-fed and
appeared physically unharmed.
The pathologist who examined her said it would have been blatantly obvious that she was "severely
and terminally ill" in the days before her death. Her injuries would have been obvious to anyone who
saw her.
Leanne Labonte, 20, and Dennis Henry, 39, of Plaistow, east London, denied both charges, but a jury
of seven men and five women took less than three hours to find them guilty. Labonte was jailed for
10 years for manslaughter and 8 years for cruelty, Henry was jailed for 12 years for manslaughter
and 9 years for cruelty.
Assistant Deputy Commissioner Carole Howlett stated the following
"Ainlee died a painful death at the hands of her parents, the very people she should have been able
to trust for care and protection above all others. Even officers with many years experience were
truly shocked and upset at what this little girl endured."
Newham social services repeatedly failed to act on concerns about the family and failed to make a
scheduled visit to their home in the week before Ainlee's death. Its staff had not seen Ainlee in
the five months before her death, despite reopening the case, which it had closed a year and a half
before against the advice of health workers.
Please remember Ainlee Walker, another special angel allowed to die at the hands of the evil that
walk this earth.
Oh yet again, social services have FAILED!! My opinion is they are just as bad as the vile evil scum who tortured this little girl to death! They should of done something about this and maybe she would still be here today! Rest in eternal peace little angel XxX

I have to agree with you Claire another case of social services failings.How anyone can hurt a pure innocent child is beyond me and more so as the other children were being looked after it sickens me to the stomach.
